With the current videos out of date, the Whirlpool Corporation asked Clearpage to breathe new life into the series of loops videos played in The Maytag Store retail locations nationwide. Customers can learn more about each of the various product categories through these videos. Each video showcases the Whirlpool Brands, including: Whirlpool, Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, and Amana.

For this project Clearpage produced and directed a location shoot at a Maytag Store to capture a unique level of product interaction. The new loops also feature a new set of motion graphics to convey the company's new image and branding. You can watch the four loops online here.

The Maytag Online Advertising Planner is an essential tool in providing owners of The Maytag Store, Maytag Home Appliance Center, and Maytag Home Dealer retail stores access to Whirlpool’s national 4-page newspaper insert promotions.

Not only does the system notify store owners they can log in to order the promotion that suites them, the feature-rich backend of the system allows for the management of hundreds of store owner accounts, custom store imprints, and newspaper and publication records, it also allows extensive reporting functions. The shipping, quantity, and participation information gathered and managed with the help of this system is a crucial tool in the successful organization of this large-scale promotion.

Our complete redesign of the Advertising Planner makes it even easier for dealers to place orders online. Whirlpool needed to improve the usability of the site, to help minimize error by the store owners during the ordering process, as well as allow individual stores more customization of their inserts. A new design of the order processing pages and an imprint management system allowing for custom graphics on both the front and back of the inserts achieved these goals.

With 6 different versions printed each quarter, the result is a highly coordinated promotion resulting in 24 to 36 million inserts found in newspapers across the country each year.

In addition to designing this quarterly 4-page newspaper insert, Clearpage Interactive also coordinates the execution of the promotion by accepting orders online and over the phone from more than 200 store owners, customizing each print run with a unique dealer imprint, ensuring proper quantities and delivery locations, as well as providing customer service to all involved in the promotion.
